Rollback to standard networking management

Post by tekblupace »

Hey guys,

It would be great if there was an easy option to roll back to the standard network configuration through

/etc/network/interfaces

and

/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

The menu driven system is really cool, but i need to use multiple scripts with multiple USB WIFI adapters, in order to setup mesh networking.
and various other configurations. I can fully appreciate the menu system just isn't built for this.

Kind regards

Hey,
tekblupace wrote:/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

DietPi don't use

Code: Select all

/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
DietPi network configuration is fully do in

Code: Select all

/etc/network/interfaces
If we will change this, many programs didn't work any more, e.g. WiFi HotSpot, Tor HotSpot, DietPi-Cloudshell, ...

make your own scripts to replace /etc/network/interfaces and restart network.
