Expand the file system from dietpi-config menu

Post by nemeth9 »

Hi,

How can I expand the /dev/sda1 file system size after I have modified the HDD size under vmware? Can anybody paste the command?
Is there any plan to add this option to dietpi-config menu? I think there will be also useful if clone the SBC images to another SD card.

Thanks!

Need to unmount drive, resize, then re-mount, commands below:

Code: Select all

umount /dev/sda1
resize2fs /dev/sda1
mount -a

Great idea, we'll look into adding this into dietpi-drive_manager.
