/bin permission

Post by Raffaele.Izzo »

Hi every one
Ok I know, maybe it's a noob issue. with a fresh DietPi install... clean with just openssh and if I remember right almost nothing more, as soon as I create a user with both "useradd (-b or -d)" or "adduser", when i try to login it returns the user cannot read /bin/bash. Checked the permission they are on /bin 700. As far as I remember (watch out that my memory is just a bit faint...maybe not just a bit, anyway) on the V141 I hadn't this issue. and also in other OS. The /bin folder permission should be set as 750 or even 755? or it'is done as security featur that can be safely changed?

Thank you guys!
