(resolved) SoftEther not up-to-date.

Post by Pilovali »

Hello,

When I login using the SoftEther VPN server manager to my Pi, it shows this:

Would it be possible to update it?

Thanks,

Shouldnt be an issue, i'll look into it and get back to you.

I've also created a Git ticket for this: https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issues/83

Is there a way to see when v95 will be released? Or perhaps the ability to enable "beta-updates"?

DietPi checks for updates once a day, and during boot. DietPi will inform you when an update is available (please see image below).

All updates are applied to the Git testing branch. I use this as a testing platform before merging it with master https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/tree/testing.
You could change gitbranch=master to gitbranch=testing in /DietPi/dietpi.txt , however, this could render your installation "broken" depending on what i've been upto, and, i wouldnt recommend it.
