Remote access possible?

Post by AJRobson »

I’m running dietpi on a pi3. I’m running transmission, sonarr, Pi-hole, Jackett and plex. I also use NordVPN

I’m going away for a couple of weeks and was wondering if it’s possible to get remote access to my pi so I can start or stop torrents and delete files if needed.

I know I can delete files through plex but if my device fills up on space I’d like to delete in progress torrents so I can still download files from plex to my laptop to watch.

Due to the active VPN client connection this is a little bit of a challenge. You could try Remot3.it. It's a 3rd party provider allowing access to various ports/apps from extern without opening ports on your local router. https://dietpi.com/docs/software/remote ... /#remot3it
Pls let us know if a solution is working. This could help others if they hit by similar situation. Your DietPi Team
