I want to run diet pi on this. There are several images with H3 support. What is the likelihood one of them will work for this?

Sorry I don't have such a board, there I'm not able to answer your question. However you could try to install plain Debian first and run DietPi PREP script later on to install DietPi on top https://dietpi.com/docs/dietpi_sbc/#mak ... stribution
