Hey guys and dolls

Wow looks really nice here for a slim and properly configured raspberry pi... But holy crap trying to configure a wlan0 w/ static ip on boot up is making me tired enough to go back to sloppy setups. What gives, I followed your instructions on editing dietpi and dietpi-wifi but no joy.
The only way I got it to run was no setup and ethernet jack w/ dhcp. Now I can't change that to static let alone static wifi.

Thanks losing it...
