succeeded
change the password for the samba edit
i did it at convert

so i'm inside but no authorization yet
can't drag files or create folders yet (win10)

For it's working. I can create new directories. Did you checked if the share is set writable ? For me it looks like the attached

i can't change Guest Access

whats the different between global and films, maybe there is my problem

Maybe you can try to create new share and guest access to NO?

started from scratch.....

In the previous dietpi installation I mounted the HDD from the dietpi Drive manager, this does not work well if you then use Webmin as a configurator
I now have a better result with guest access on yes.
Assigning a user for windos (samba) is the most problematic for now

What is the issue? For me it was quite easy to setup the share and assign the user.

Finaly....

what one should not forget when testing is that you have to clear the windows user accounts credentials and restart the samba server with every change.
