Tool For Setting Up and Optimizing NFS

Are there any GUI-based tools available that allow the user to easily set up and optimize NFS performance? If yes, would it be possible to add one to a future release of DietPi? I currently use FTP for KODI and it is very fast but would like to try NFS for comparison.

Webmin might be a good option...not a GUI per say...
A web-based interface for system administration for Unix. Setup user accounts, DNS, file sharing and the program is freeware.

https://doxfer.webmin.com/Webmin/NFS_Exports

dietpi-software has the option to install webmin

once installed all you do is open a web browser and point it at ip.address.of.dietpi:10000

What about adding something like this to DietPi?

You can easily add an NFS share via dietpi-drive_manager > Add network drive.

And you can easily install an NFS server via dietpi-software install 109 (or the software menu). Jep no GUI for configuration available, but it's configured and enabled automatically to share the /mnt/dietpi_userdata dir. Changing this is very easy, a GUI as actually an overkill, especially since you anyway need to do config steps on client side.

Simple NFS GUI sadly is not developed for more than two years. A bid too long (considered dead), to add it to dietpi-software :? : https://github.com/Philippe734/Simple.NFS.GUI
