Update from 6.31.2 to 6.32.2 has broken Apache

Post by drogg »

I use webdav to store Joplin Notes data on my server
I have dietpi running an Apache reverse proxy which forwards requests to the server.
Inside and out, it has been fine since I set it up around Christmas.

The recent update from 6.31.2 to 6.32.2 seems to have broken it.

connection to https://xxx.xxxxxx.org/webdav/ was OK with 6.31.2
this is now broken with 6.32.2.

I get the following error..

500 Internal Server Error
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@localhost to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.<address>Apache/2.4.25 (Raspbian) Server at xxxx.xxxxxx.org Port 443 (Code 500)

connection to http://192.168.1.xx/webdav/ is OK with both versions

restoring the backup and going back to 6.31.2 from 6.32.2 Fixed the issue.
all working as it should again.

the lines in my routing.cont..
ProxyPass /webdav http://192.168.1.13/webdav/
ProxyPassReverse /webdav http://192.168.1.13/webdav/

I note that Apache has been upgraded in 6.32.2 to address another issue, is it possible this has broken the domain routing.

Thanks

Hi,

many thanks for your message. To exclude dietpi-update, you could run apt update && apt upgrade on DietPi 6.31.2. This should update all APT packages, including Apache. If the issue happend afterwards as well, probably something changes on Apache software. :?
Pls let us know if a solution is working. This could help others if they hit by similar situation. Your DietPi Team
