Hi,
I can not send a token via gmail that has been created for a new project.
The token can be from / mnt / dietpi_userdata / blynk / data
  XXXX @ gmail.com, Blynk user.
This is a bit cumbersome.
what data:
v6.21.1 | RPi 3 | blynk server.
Creating a project on my android is no problem, everything works except sending the token via Gmail.
Installing Blynk without dietpi works fine and the sending of the token via gmail also works well.
There is no /etc/blynkserver
so I put the file in / mnt / dietpi_userdata / blynk.
How can I solve the problem?

I have the same problem.
I have created the file mail.properties in mnt / dietpi_userdata / blynk, but the problem continues. I cannot send mail. This is a big problem because the widget report doesn't work either

How did you install the Blynk server without DietPi?

Could you try to add the blynk user to the mail group: usermod -aG mail blynk

But I don`t know who is the blink user?
I' ve tried
usermoad -aG mail dietpi

I've also tried
usermod -aG mail root

but does not send mail

I think the blink user is root because:

"blynk" is the blynk user . So you can use the command I suggested literally/via copy&paste.

The "root" user btw never requires any additional permissions or group memberships. It always has full access to everything.

Ah sorry, I didn't think that this might not be true for your older DietPi version, with current DietPi it is the user blynk: https://github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/blob ... 144-L11147

Please paste the output of the following command to check which user runs the Blynk server:

Okay quite an uncommon setup with that version. I think you currently would need to create/move the mail.properties file to /etc/blynkserver/mail.properties.

Yeah an update would not hurt. Create a dietpi-backup first and report back if you face any issue since this are quite many subversion steps.

It already works, I have updated to version 6.28 and I can already send mail from blynk.
