Turn off the samba client

I've accidentally configured the Samba client when I don't have any Samba servers to connect to. How do I turn it off? Dietpi-config doesn't have the option. I've tried editing the fstab but dietpi apps still attempt to mount my non-existent server causing delays.

dietpi-software

uninstall it
