Allo USbridge with DietPi not working with Chord Hugo Dac

I purchased he allo usbridge with dietpi and have been struggling to get any sound out to my speakers.

I have tried airplay , roon , HQPlayer with no success.

I believe the problem might be ..
1. I got a faulty usbridge card
2. DietPi is not recognizing my dac - Chord Hugo. In the sound card selection, i use "usb dac" as an option. Should I be seeing Hugo instead ?

I would like to point out that my dac (Chord Hugo) is working with a raspberry pi 3 with volumio where it correctly shows up as "Hugo"

Any help greatly appreciated !

Working now. Might have been a loose connection between the sparky and usbridge.
