Re: Samba Client Issues

Thanks for the links, I was able to follow one of the sub links in a thread that said to add vers=1.0 to my samba share. Thanks again.

Re: Samba Client Issues

Sorry, this is a Raspberry PI 3. My Nas is a MyCloud Duo. I typically connect using the IP (192.168.1.38 in my case) followed by the share name and then log in credentials. This was all working fine previously so I'm not sure what happened. I don't typically do anything else on here except occasiona...

Samba Client Issues [SOLVED]

Hello, I've been running DietPi for awhile with no issues. Recently, I think after I updated to version 6.6 (I think?) my Plex server is having issues connecting to the Samba client which has all my media files on it. I verified I can access them on my PC so I know they're not dead. How would I go a...

Plex Server Raspberry Pi 3 Alternatives

Hello, I currently have my plex server running on a raspberry pi 3 and wanted to explore other options that have better processing power for transcoding. My raspberry pi 3 does a great job but I think I can get better performance stepping up. I just don't know which option I should choose and was ho...

dietpi-sync

I'm looking at using my RPI to sync some folders across two NAS devices I have and I was wondering if this would be the way to go. Basically, I want to know how it handles the syncing.. If I modify a file name will it just rename the file on the target drive or will it just create a new file and rem...

Raspberry Pi 2 to Raspberry Pi 3

I'm going to be picking up a raspberry pi 3 soon and wanted to know if I can just use the same SD card (dietpi installed) that I use for my raspberry pi 2 and place it in my Raspberry pi 3. Is there anything I need to change or will it just work?

Thanks.

Re: RetroPie Memory allocation

Thanks for the reply.

I was thinking the same thing about 512mb. Don't see any of the nintendo games being that demanding for memory. Most of the guides said PSX and maybe some N64 games.

RetroPie Memory allocation

Hello,
I've installed RetroPie and I have looked at several guides all of which say I should change my GPU memory to 512. I went into Dietpi-config and there's an option for Gaming but it's at 256mb. How would I go about making it 512?

Thank you

Re: Deluge Python Error

So I did a fresh install and only installed VNC and Deluge.. This was the first thing I did after a reboot and I get the same error. So I'm stumped as to why this happens. root@DietPi:~# pkill deluged root@DietPi:~# deluged root@DietPi:~# [ERROR ] 14:56:17 component:118 [Failure instance: Traceback:...

Re: Deluge Python Error

I'm not sure whats causing this error then. I posted the same question in Deluge forums https://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopic.php?t=53513 The ports are valid integers and listen_interface is an empty string. I cannot replicate the error myself. However I suspect it is due to IPv6 being disabled...
