FWIW

Chrome was the issue as it was bypassing my settings (and DNS).

I had to disable its async DNS resolver.

Thanks for the answers. 1. Enable IPv6 on the Pi. I think I have. But just to be sure, how would I or how could I check? 2. Make sure that your Wireguard .conf includes parameters for IPv6. What parameters exactly? I so have some, nur are they correct? 3. Make sure IPv6 is even enabled on your route...

I think I found one way I am happy with for now.

FWIW

I simply added a script into the dietpi postboot.d folder.
And within that one-line-script I start wireguard service via systemctl start [email protected]

Works reliably for me.

Could you explain what you put where exactly? I want to schiebe the oppposite, i.e. start wireguard after boot. (Starting the service fails for some reason, If I start by hand once boot is finished, it works, so ist could be a timing issue) I could with an Idea how to do that. (Starting a service on...
