Re: RPi.GPIO issues after update

Perhaps the current raspberrypi-kernel update breaks something. Could be easily tested by (doing a backup first of course, and) running G_AGUP && G_AGDUG (or apt update && apt full-upgrade).

Re: Roseapple pi (Lemon pi) support

Thanks for clarification about the LemonPi/RoseapplePi naming ;). I understand that it generally makes sense to enable support especially for devices, where manufacturer does not ship a good/current image already. This is basically where ARMbian does a great job (assumption, I never used an ARMbian ...

Re: Dietpi hardware volume on i-sabre

@Vlaca
Thanks for providing the solution. Do with this option both volume controls work, via hardware and via iPad? In this case we might consider adding it by default, when installing via dietpi-software :?.

Re: RPi.GPIO issues after update

Did some research, could you please try the following: mv /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99-dietpi-norecommends ~/99-dietpi-norecommends apt update && apt install --reinstall raspberrypi-sys-mods mv ~/99-dietpi-norecommends /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99-dietpi-norecommends Assure to overwrite config files with mainta...

Re: Dietpi-drive_manager, how to make RFS read-only?

Hmm, during my tests, ramdisk (+ramlog) was up as well. But yeah, was VM, there things might be different. Maybe there is some network share or other process up that keeps the file system busy/on edit? Definitely worth to investigate. We could either hide the R/O setting, based on the found conditio...

Re: 'Operation not permitted' message on login

Ah jep makes sense: https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/blob/master/dietpi/func/obtain_network_details#L115 - The script is called on login by the login user. - We chmod /DietPi/dietpi/.network actually allow all users run the script and update+check network info. - Since /DietPi/dietpi/.network is ow...

Re: Dietpi-drive_manager, how to make RFS read-only?

I am wondering, that the option is still available for rootfs/bootfs, since many DietPi functions require r/w access on those drives. However it is available and during test on my Stretch VM it worked. I needed to remove the swapfile from the drive first (also possible via drive manager): [ SUB1 ] D...
