Re: Backing up DietPi to NAS drive

the directory on your screen print is different from the directory you specified on the mount command > mount >> /mnt/Backup > screen >> /mnt/discorede It is true, somehow it changed. But like i told you, i runned the mount line again to the correct one. Run the backup again, but the same errors. I...

Re: Backing up DietPi to NAS drive

Hi, it looks like the backup did no exist. Can you slowly move within the backup tree to see where it stop? BTW: if you like to share content from your system, use SSH connection and simply copy/post the data. It will be better readable than a screen print ;) Don't know where it stopped, so went ag...

Re: Backing up DietPi to NAS drive

Joulinar wrote: Tue Dec 29, 2020 12:49 pm hmm looks like permission issues. You would need to compare source and target file system

Code: Select all

ls -la /lib/modules/5.4.79+/kernel/
ls -la /mnt/Backup/dietpi-backup/data/lib/modules/5.4.79+/kernel/
Which user you used to run dietpi-backup ?
As you can see, root.
See the return of your commands:

Re: Backing up DietPi to NAS drive

As well server/export was just an example for an exported NFS directory. It would need to be replaced by your own fo...
