Re: curl: (28) Resolving timed out after 3000 milliseconds

I can achieve this via dietpi-config -> Network Adapter Settings
usually yes, or edit /etc/resolv.conf manually as this will be the leading file at the end

Re: How do I secure my wifi?

well using a VPN will not improve security on your local WiFi. It will encrypt the connection for single devices into the internet using the VPN. But, still the local WiFi will be same as before. And to avoid a misunderstanding, I did not try to do any advertising for Heimdal security. Even, I don't...

Re: curl: (28) Resolving timed out after 3000 milliseconds

Did you assigned IP address via DHCP first on this device? Probably this way the incorrect DNS server was set. In generell I recommend to use a global public DNS server on the device running Pihole + Unbound. Why? Because what happen if one of them fail? You will not be able to reinstall them as DNS...

Re: curl: (28) Resolving timed out after 3000 milliseconds

You can change /etc/resolv.conf yourself pointing to correct IP or you use dietpi-config to set correct DNS server

Re: curl: (28) Resolving timed out after 3000 milliseconds

Hi,

let's check the DNS server settings on your device

Code: Select all

cat /etc/resolv.conf
readlink -f /etc/resolv.conf

Re: wireguard create new clients automatically

just to be clear, PiVPN is doing nothing else crating the client conf files. The WireGuard VPN server is still the same as before. Probably something was not set correctly while setting up the additional clients.
