Connect to WiFi only if ethernet disconnected or not working

I disabled WiFi on my Pis with DietPi installed but I ask if it's possibile to configure the systems that if ethernet is disconnected or not working WiFi is enabled and used with same ethernet IP/DNS configuration.

Thank you for reply, I'll install iptables on the 4B manually.

I don't understand why on the Pi 3B iptables is already installed and not on 4B. If fail2ban not using iptables, which is the software package I installed on Pi 3B that required and installed iptables?

I solved the problem: Dropbear doesn't support ed25519 so it's necessary to generate rsa or ecdsa (I used this system) keys, then you can copy public key to Raspberry Pi in the authorized_keys file in .ssh home subdir ~/.ssh/authorized_keys with ssh root@raspberry_ip "tee -a ~/.ssh/authorized_keys" ...

I own a Pi 4 and ysterday I flashed the experimental image based on Buster (DietPi version 6.25.3) and I have no issues! 8)

I know that in Buster NFtables replaces iptables, does the Fail2Ban dietpi-software work with this new firewall? :?
