Re: Logitech Media Server use local Nextcloud folders?

thx Joulinar Seems to be a permission issue Nextcloud stores its data under /mnt/dietpi_userdata/nextcloud_data /userXY/files/... But it looks like LMS has no access to it, only "root" does. My guess is, that the Logitech Media Server does not run as root - and that's better that way ;) When I try t...

Logitech Media Server use local Nextcloud folders?

Hi there I have installed Nextcloud and LMS via dietpi_software. Both working fine. Can I define a folder of Nextcloud as LMS' mediafolder? So I could upload music to my local Nextcloud-Folder and listen to it via LMS? If yes: How would I accomplish this setting? Basically: Can I access nextcloud's ...

Re: RealVNC Server ... not in softwarelist anymore?

Need the cloudconnect.

Maybe i just first install tigervnc, access the headless machine‘s desktop locally, there install realvnc and connect visually to my account and then get rid of tigervnc again.

Re: RealVNC Server ... not in softwarelist anymore?

[...]Downside at the moment, you need to have an active desktop session running. Otherwise I just get the back screen. So I setup 23 LXDE: ultra lightweight desktop and put it to autostart . When I tried to install it via terminal (via ssh only, no monitor cable attachable to this machine) I always...

Re: RealVNC Server ... not in softwarelist anymore?

No clue how they do it ... But I prefer that over tinkering with the router.
another option is remote.it ... doesn‘t need portforwarding either

Re: RealVNC Server ... not in softwarelist anymore?

Thx @MichaIng

Well, with TigerVNCyou need to portforward and whatdoIknow ... while RealVNC just punches its holes and doesn‘t require the Router to be fiddled with ...

I‘ll try to setup RealVNC on the Dietpi without using dietpi-software.
Hope that‘ll work ...

Re: RealVNC Server ... not in softwarelist anymore?

thx @Joulinar

So it‘s because for the first time I did not install Dietpi on a Raspi or PC, but an „Apu Board“
https://www.pcengines.ch/apu2.htm
which isn‘t on the list of supported devices yet.

Gonna try that grep ;)
