Re: DietPi 6 Odroid XU4 Cloudshell 2
This worked for me: 1. Installed DietPi_OdroidXU4-ARMv7-Stretch.7z to my emmc, basic setup only. Re: XU4 + Cloudshell 2
@trashmouth23 @noobs4u You downloaded the image freshly? Because it is already on kernel 4.14 since 2018-09-10 and has the APT package installed, so you can upgrade via apt full-upgrade . The kernel package in particular: G_AGI linux-image-4.14-armhf-odroid-xu4 I downloaded a fresh copy of dietpi t...

Re: DietPi 6 Odroid XU4 Cloudshell 2
About the kernel, it should be 4.14 already. See: https://dietpi.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2985#p17699 To verify: uname -a To upgrade: G_AGDUG (or via dietpi-config > Advanced Options > Firmware update) About the fan, did you attach it to the native fan/PWM port of the XU4? By chance I wro...

Re: XU4 + Cloudshell 2
Hi I've got a CS2 too. You need kernel 4.9. Here is my thread with the solution ^^ http://dietpi.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2944 How did you update the dietpi software to give you the newest kernel so the fan will work? The Odroid site uses the ubuntu minimalist image to apply the latest ke...

Re: DietPi Native PC data transfer SLOW
So here's the skinny. I have cat7 cable for all my devices (totally forgot). I have a gigabit switch so all those devices can have internet access because the router only has 4 ports. My router (AT&T 5268AC Gateway Router) also has gigabit. However, not all the devices are plugged into the switc...

Re: DietPi Native PC data transfer SLOW
I may have found the problem. So it's my understanding that 11.7MB/s is the speed at which files are transfered over Cat5 or Cat5e even if you are connected to and have Gigabit ports, routers and switches. It could also be the result of an older device on the network that doesn't support gigabit. In...

Re: DietPi Native PC data transfer SLOW
I'm also having the exact same issue with my Odroid XU4 running dietpi. I re-imaged the XU4 and its still slow. It didn't used to be that way. Is this a Windows 10 issue causing the slow data transfer? I thought maybe is was a Samba thing but SSH is no better. Same exact transfer speeds.
