Re: Reinstall DietPi/help with Lighttpd

Hey thank you, it got the page to work, but it is not usable, it is missing all the page elements. It looks as if Javascript were turned off or something. It's okay, I will reinstall DietPi, with the help of the tutorial you had kindly provided.

Thank you Joulinar 8)

Re: Reinstall DietPi/help with Lighttpd

Maybe resetting lighttpd would be easiest? systemctl restart lighttpd Job for lighttpd.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status lighttpd.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details. root@DietPi:~# systemctl status lighttpd ● lighttpd.service - Lighttpd D...

Reinstall DietPi/help with Lighttpd

Hello, I pulled out my Raspberry Pi from storage and hooked it up. All I used it for was Pi Hole. I'm not sure why but I can't access the web interface for PiHole. Everything else with PiHole runs fine but Lighttpd is the issue. sudo service lighthttpd restart Failed to restart lighthttpd.service: U...

How do I tap into an SSH session?

Let's say I start an SSH session on my laptop and have things going but have to restart my laptop for some reason, how can I access that session on the DietPi itself?

Like right now I have an install going over SSH on my laptop but want to pick it up on the Dietpi.

Re: Rpi V6 release

I have a Chromebook only so I don't have access to a bunch of tools but I redownloaded the image 3 times and can't open that specific one, but can open the other 7z images on your server, weird. I just used an online unpacking service now to get the image this time instead and that worked

Rpi V6 release

Hi, is the RPi image on the download page up to date with the new release yet? The current one is dated Jan 20 and when I try to open, I can't, as if it's corrupt. I can open other 7z images from the image server at http://dietpi.com/downloads/images/?C=M;O=D

Re: Pi-Hole update process

Yup, happened to me too a few days ago. It was a pretty fresh install with only pihole and Kodi so wasn't a big deal to reinstall, and I have no idea what happened, but pihole's web interface wasn't working anymore and I also couldn't use the -up command as above According to Pi-hole Details Updatin...

Re: RPi-Kodi won't start if using OpenGL mode thru dietpi-co

Kodi will only function if you are using the Broadcom drivers! This is the "Original non-GL desktop driver" , which is currently the default on the Raspbian based images. If you select the open-source OpenGL driver, it won't work! Kodi on Raspbian requires a minimum of 160 MB of RAM dedicated to th...

RPi-Kodi won't start if using OpenGL mode thru dietpi-config

This is with Raspberry Pi 3, using latest DietPi image, over HDMI to my Sony TV: using dietpi-config and display options, if I choose plain 1920x1080, Kodi starts. If I use OpenGL 1920x1080 option, Kodi does not start. Segmentation fault (core dumped) Crash report available at /root/kodi_crashlog-20...
