Re: DietPi-Automation: Enable both WiFi and Ethernet adapters for WiFi Hotspot

Hmm actually the WiFi modules are re-enabled during WiFi HotSpot installation: https://github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/blob/4a3767b/dietpi/dietpi-software#L5095-L5113 I mean e.g. in case of RPi, a reboot is required to have it really enabled, so an interactive install would then fail, as the WiFi criteri...

Re: Enable Raspberry cam module

Indeed the 64-bit version of the Raspberry Pi GPU libraries ships only a subset of what the 32-bit version ships. I'm not sure which part is required, has an input_raspicam.so actually been compiled? ls -l /opt/mjpg-streamer . The default UVC module seems to work as well: https://www.raspberrypi.org...

Re: Supervise containers with Systemd

If docker stop does not work as expected, I guess that command, when executed from console, does not block until the container has been fully shutdown, but releases the console while the container is shutdown, right? This behaviour is difficult for systemd. When an ExecStop command is defined, it is...

Re: dietpi-config only has CPU Governor "performance" and "powersave"

The Intel pstates scaling driver is actually not better but worse than the Linux native CPUfreq (average power usage vs responsiveness), from all I read about it. But I guess it also depends on Linux version and Intel CPU/chip. But it makes sense that we detect and correctly handle the Intel driver,...

Re: Reboot After Install Inconsistent Behavior

Ah yes that is true. I actually wanted to change that already, done now: https://github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/comm ... 190e24dc3b

As a workaround, do

Code: Select all

echo 2 > /boot/dietpi/.install_stage
in your Automation_Custom_Script.sh.

Re: Dietpi not starting after update

EDIT: Ah lol, great that you were able to solve it already :D. The underlying issue seems to be that on upgrade grub was flashed to the wrong drive. Similar to this . It seems that the underlying issue has never really been solved: The ability of the grub install script to reliably detect the corre...

Re: Mouse not Working with Pi 400

I think it's a bug with LibSDL2 v2.0.14: https://github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/issues/4457

Thanks for reminder, I'll check that now and create a binary to test, based on LibSDL2 v2.0.15 to see if it got fixed in the meantime. Else we'll need to downgrade to v2.0.12 :(.

Re: dietpi-config only has CPU Governor "performance" and "powersave"

DietPi-Config shows you all governors which are available on your system. Please verify via: cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_available_governors Or do you have multiple CPU types with different available governors? cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/policy1/scaling_available_govern...

Re: fastcgi-problem with dietpi x86 lighttpd nextcloud collabora [solved]

The fix (config change) should not required anymore as the underlying bug has been solved in the Debian package. At least when it's the same underlying issue that caused logout to fail with Lighttpd and that was fixed with the same config change :?.

Re: Changed to IPv6 / DS-Lite and need help

Does it work to access the domain without /nextcloud path element to access the Lighttpd example index page?
