Re: After updating to Debian Bullseye: Docker doesn't work

Uii, this is an old Ayufan based image and related old kernel. Though they are still maintained as can be seen by the newer kernel packages installed already, and even Linux 5.13 builds are available in theory: https://github.com/ayufan-rock64/linux-mainline-kernel If you find some time to transfer ...

Re: HDD Problem

Looks like the connection to the HDD is flaky, which could be indeed due to insufficient power supplied via USB, respectively too high voltage fluctuations, e.g. when Plex is doing CPU/GPU intense transcoding, RAM and disk writes concurrently. Did this work reliably before? As you said the HDD is ne...

Re: AUTO_SETUP_HEADLESS disabling GPU

It supports indeed RPi and Odroid C2 only currently (not even our latest Odroid C2 image anymore), as for those there are ways to significantly reduce power consumption and memory usage by disabling some GPU/video features. So on Odroid C4/HC4 it doesn't have any effect and you should see a related ...

Re: Older OS version availability

Reminds me that I wanted to create a Python 3 fork of it. There is a branch for it already and a bunch of PRs to fix further Python 3 related issues, but the maintainer basically does not maintain it: https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneye/pulls We already tested it and basically it works with the pyt...

Re: PINE64 no network on boot

That is indeed strange. The device tree should be correctly detected by the bootloader itself based on the detected hardware. It it not hardcoded anyway else :?. Probably something to report to Armbian: https://forum.armbian.com/forum/27-allwinner-a64-h5-h6-and-h616/ So you the A64+ device tree was ...

Re: Kodi Error

The "untested" repository is not required anymore as the build has been moved to the regular RPi repository now. Als full KMS "vc4-kms-v3d" should be working and recommended now. Please try it with the DietPi v7.9 beta: https://github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/issues/5019 It installs t...

Re: Kodi - Unable to create GUI

Would be great if you could test it with the DietPi v7.9 beta: https://github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/issues/5019 It uses the Kodi build from the RPi engineers on all architectures now and on RPi 4 a CMA size of 512 MiB is applied to support 4k playback. For 60 Hz, an additional config.txt setting is re...

Re: No HDMI output on ROCK64 with DietPi 7.8.2

Hmm, on ROCK64 DietPi does not enforce any resolution what just uses what the firmware/kernel default to. If you find time, could you test it with the Armbian Bullseye image? https://www.armbian.com/rock64/
It should behave the same as same kernel and firmware is used.

Re: Kodi Error - Kodi not starting

When using the current beta or DietPi v7.9 after its release at December 11, you will get an even better experience with the new Kodi build from the RPi firmware engineers :).

Re: Nextcloud : can not update nor exit maintenance mode

For the future, you can increase the maximum allowed memory allocation (adjust the PHP version string in case): echo -e '; Personal PHP overrides\n; priority=99\nmemory_limit=1G' > /etc/php/7.3/mods-available/custom.ini phpenmod custom However, that an app requires that much for an upgrade is indeed...
