trouble with rock64 image

I've been running an old image on rock64 for ages. I haven't been able to update to the latest version lately because of wrong kernel (I got a warning about that). I finally decided to reflash my card, which worked fine. However, I'm having problems booting the image. It stops in random places durin...

External HDD doesn't spin down after NFS connection

I have an usb hdd connected to my Rock 64. The apm value is set to 90.

When I access this drive via NFS on my Libreelec box the drive never goes to sleep again when I'm done. I guess it doesn't notice when the connection disconnects. Any idea how to solve this?

Re: external HDD power management

Thanks

It is on sda and hdparm -C /dev/sda gives

/dev/sda:
drive state is: active/idle

This suggests that the drive is in normal operation. I guess it also suggest that hdparm is supported. I have the default dietpi values in hdparm.

external HDD power management

I'm running DietPi on a rock64 and have Seagate Expansion Plus portable harddrive connected by usb. It seams to me that the harddive is constantly spinning. Is it possible to turn it off when inactive?

Squeezebox and samba stopped working

I'm running dietpi on a rock 64. All of a sudden the squeezebox server and the samba server stopped working. I can still ssh into the rock64. I've tried updat8ng to 6.9 (from 6.8) without luck. I then reverted to the latest working bsckup. Still no luck. Third happened at the sane time as my interne...

Re: turning off HDMI

"Display options" was my first guess as well. But there's no option for turning off HDMI on Rock64. I probably need to do it manually. but how?

Re: logitechmediaserver on Rock64

Nevermind, I just installed ayufan's minimal stretch image (https://github.com/ayufan-rock64/linux- ... tag/0.5.10) and http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightl ... 91_all.deb and got LMS up and running smoothly within a few minutes.
