Re: How to rebuild the kernel

@k-plan Many thanks for your links, very helpful. I better understand now the removal of the NanoPI Neo in the download list. It's a pity, however I respect the project decision. Anyway I ordered a NanoPI Neo 2 that would arrive soon. I'll focus my efforts to get the Native DSD support for my USB in...

Re: Update from 6.1 to 6.2 on headless Ryzen PC down now

The weird point is that I hadn't this problem (read-only mount) before the 6.2 installation. All worked and was stable. Now at each reboot of the PC, I have to re-mount manually the filesystem. Is there a different kernel in 6.2 than in 6.1 ? I've rebooted, the filesystem is in readonly, see here th...

Re: How to rebuild the kernel

@John Thanks Ok, my question would be. Is it possible/easy to boot on another kernel than the one selected by DiePI team? My aim, would be to pick up the same version than the official kernel for DietPI and to patch it with the native DSD support in the file sound/usb/quirks.c It seems to be only a ...

How to rebuild the kernel

Hello, I'd like to rebuild the NanoPI kernel in order to embed the patches allowing to detect my USB XMOS U2018 interface with my NanoPI Neo as a native DSD enabled. https://github.com/lintweaker/xmos-native-dsd I've never built a Linux Kernel, have good notions in software compilation, is there a t...

Re: Update from 6.1 to 6.2 on headless Ryzen PC down now

Hi Foudee, I'd like to send a bug-report but since the upgrade to 6.2, the folder /DietPi is empty, so I don't know where to find the diet-bugreport command. I've remounted the filesystem un read-write mode now with the command: $ mount -o remount,rw /dev/nvme0n1p2 / I tried an apt-get update but I ...

Re: Update from 6.1 to 6.2 on headless Ryzen PC down now

Is there a way to fix the upgrade issue ? Since the upgrade to 6.2, diet-xxx commands are no longer available.
Don't know how to retrieve a stable system. All application I've installed are down.
