Re: Pi Zero W Project: Travel Storage Device

I was just hoping there was a way to create a 2nd SSID on one device... This guy did it with a simple ESP01 and it works flawlessly... https://github.com/martin-ger/esp_wifi_repeater Doing some poking around it might be a hostapd issue...checking...maybe it's a driver issue https://unix.stackexchan...

Re: Diet Pi Changed or Reset networking?

did you have your dietpi setup w/ a static IP address? Did you use dietpi-config to set static IP? This is how I setup my pihole If not it pulled a DHCP address from your router A. Log into your router and find the address assigned to the pi B. Run angryipscanner and find it what way (or nmap for li...

Re: Pigpio

From install.sh USER_RUN_FILE=/home/pi/.bashrc You will need to create a user named pi on the device... or you could change it to USER_RUN_FILE=/home/dietpi/.bashrc You did ensure you installed the prerequisites right? sudo apt-get install python-smbus sudo apt-get install pigpio python-pigpio pytho...

A WiFi adapter to broadcast the AP SSID and a 2nd interfaces to create the local network connection to the internet I was just hoping there was a way to create a 2nd SSID on one device... Re: Pi Zero W Project: Travel Storage Device

Best bet would be to just set it up as a WIFI AP, then use your phone to direct connect to the AP's SSID, then you can directly use either a URL or simply the DNS IP of the AP as the connector to Nextcloud and then sync the images that way. Yes, that is what my goal is here, however I am unable to ...

Re: Ensuring proper functionality after power loss?

Best thing to do would be to build/buy a small DC UPS setup for your rig...this way if the power blips it doesn't just cut off the SBC risking corruption of the SDCARD...however for long term power outtage it would take something triggering the SBC to do a graceful shudown as to sync and unmount the...
