[SOLVED-REEDITED] How to trim my SSD using DietPi
Hello, I've installed DietPi on my Atom miniPC. Now I have bought a Kingston A400 SSD and I have cloned using clonezilla DietPi on it: I get speeds of about Write = 120 MB/s | Read = 310 MB/s. The question: Do I need to trim? I've found this answer by Fourdee in a post related to SSD+XU4: https://di...

Re: How to know the CPU temp in a system created by PREP_SYSTEM_FOR_DIETPI.sh
Sorry, MichaIng I don't understand. I installed the Armbian version from Balbes150. Then, I could read CPU temp. After installing DietPi, I can't. This only happens with my S905X. I have another Android TV Box, S912, and, with the same process of installation (Balbes150 Armbian + DietPi) I can read ...

Re: How I got DietPi running on my S905X Android TV Box
Hello, @WarHawk this unit seems to be expensive to me, looking at the specs. I don't know in Russia, but in Spain you can get an S905X 2GB-16GB for less than 40 euros.

How I got DietPi running on my S905X and S912 Android TV Boxes
Hello, As you may know I love DietPi and I install it everywhere (RPi1, RPi2, Odroid C2, BIOS old netbooks, an EFI64 Intel Atom miniPC...). Now I have installed it on my Android TV Box M16, based on Amlogic S905X, a 2GB-16 GB model (very similar to Odroid C2, but cheaper, 100 Mbps ethernet, and with...

Re: [SOLVED] After upgrading DietPi, it wants to set up as it was fresh
Thank you very much.MichaIng wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 4:09 pm Jep the issue should be fixed with v6.21. If you are still stuck in the loop, please cancel any dietpi-software prompt and do the following:Code: Select all
> /DietPi/dietpi/.update_stage echo 1 > /DietPi/dietpi/.install_stage dietpi-update 1
Now the issue is solved, at last!

Re: After upgrading DietPi, it wants to set up as it was fresh
I hope somebody will help us, It must be a service that is marked as "active", and it must be disabled; when the "first boot assistant" is loaded, as you see, a lot of services are disabled. The workaround is pressing Ctrl+C when the system boots, or when you go into it by SSH, a...

Re: After upgrading DietPi, it wants to set up as it was fresh
****WORKAROUND****
When I type
I get all the processes up.
I need you to know how to tell DietPi it's yet configured, so the "first boot assistant" is not loaded.
When I type
Code: Select all
dietpi-services restart
I need you to know how to tell DietPi it's yet configured, so the "first boot assistant" is not loaded.

Re: After upgrading DietPi, it wants to set up as it was fresh
It was php.
Doing
I can get into Pi Hole Web Admin.
So, now, I have 26 services; when I reboot, I have 18.
Is this related to the "first boot" screens I get, maybe it doesn't start all the DietPi Services I had configured?
Thank you,
Doing
Code: Select all
service php7.0-fpm start
So, now, I have 26 services; when I reboot, I have 18.
Is this related to the "first boot" screens I get, maybe it doesn't start all the DietPi Services I had configured?
Thank you,
