Re: Read/Write access denied with mounted drives?

Since this wasn't resolved in v6.15, is there any way to "roll back" to a version of DietPi that didn't have this issue?? At least until it is resolved??? Im all for having the latest version of any software (even test builds), but this is one I'd rather go back to an older version until its fixed....

Re: Read/Write access denied with mounted drives?

Hi,

I don't believe Samba supports setting file/folder permissions, as the permissions used are set during the mount, as defined by the server:

Re: Some advices for Dietpi developing

Many thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate it. 1. Do not force auto-updating Only the initial 1st run of the device is a forced update. This is to ensure you are running the latest version (with patches/fixes). After which, dietpi-update is optional. 2. Offer the history image download This...

HDMI resolution not being applied in DietPi-Config will be fixed in v6.15 update.

Please download the latest script to resolve now:

Code: Select all

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Fourdee/DietPi/testing/dietpi/dietpi-config -O /DietPi/dietpi/dietpi-config

Re: (RESOLVED) No video out (or boot fails) on Pine A64

Farther,, X can be made to work, edit /boot/uEnv.txt, remove comment from # disp_screen0 = lcd or hdmi And now I see I am losing my mind, the comment is restored after a reboot, but X still works Hi, You'll need to edit the file on the DietPi RAMdisk location: /DietPi/uEnv.txt Changes made there, w...

Hi all, Apologies for the issues you are experiencing. I've just updated our PineA64 image, which contains the 0.6.2 kernel/uboot from Ayufan. Please try the updated image and let us know if this resolves the issue: https://dietpi.com/downloads/images/DietPi_PineA64-ARMv8-Stretch.7z EDIT: Verified H...

Re: Dietpi does not start

Hi,

In regards to the RPi issues, i suspect insufficient power supply. Check for undervoltage messages with:

Code: Select all

dmesg | grep volt
I'll check the Pine image, as, we also need to update the image aswell.

Hi guys,

Just to verify, are you installing Pi-hole through dietpi-software?
