How do I find out whether thermal throttling occurred?
Hi,

When the device is under load, use the cpu command. If the clock speeds are lower than max, then its being throttled. Most likley 80'c+ this occurs.

Re: Cannot burn an Native image (img)

What is the procedure to bring this image on the intern hdd of the native PC System? UEFI system, use rufus: https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issues/1171#issuecomment-336522021 BIOS/CSM, you can use win32diskimager or even dd in linux. Write the image directly to the HDD you want to use (eg: sata ...

Re: Two gmediarender conflict

Hi, Thanks for the report. Confirmed issue, we'll resolve for v6.10. Basically we need to change the GMrender advertised UUID per system. In the service /etc/systemd/system/gmrender.service , add the entry -u system1 gmediarender -u system1 -f DietPi-device1 --gstout-audiodevice=sysdefault --gstout-...

Re: Bug in 6.9? Squeezeboxserver doesn´t show up in dietpi-process_tool

Hi, Thanks for the report. This is a known bug which cropped into our v6.9 release due to a revision in the ps [c]ax scrape. Its resolved for v6.10 once completed and released (ETA 1/2 weeks). In the mean time you can resolve now by running the below command: wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/F...

Re: DietPi / OPen Media Vault: "#!/bin/sh -l" doesnt work

Hi, Thanks for the report. Officially we do not support OMV with DietPi due to OMV incompatibilities: https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issues/1559#issuecomment-368471946 EG: Just one example, DietPi-Drive manager can see all non-DietPi added /etc/fstab entries. OMV can not. Regardless, how did you ...

Re: dietpi-backup not excluding directories

Ah, Thanks.

We'll get this resolved for v6.10, most likley have 2 new files, one for userdata and one for system. Both having include/exclude in the same file using - and +.

Re: dietpi-backup not excluding directories

Hi,

You need to do it this way, using additional / at the end, else rsync treats it as a file I believe:

Code: Select all

/mnt/petri/
/mnt/data/dietpi-backup/
/mnt/data/dietpi_userdata/downloads/
/mnt/dietpi_userdata/dietpi-backup/
/mnt/dietpi_userdata/downloads/

Re: Dietpi backup: how to exclude folders/files

Hi,

Please refer to online documentation:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5&start=30#p255

eg: to exclude /root and /lib/firmware and /test/myfile, you could use the following in /DietPi/dietpi/.dietpi-backup_exclude
:

Code: Select all

/root/*
/lib/firmware/*
/test/myfile
