Re: v151 flooding twi_start()434 - [i2c0] START can't sendou

UPDATE OK, I restored my last good backup which rolled me back to v1.50 I then updated to v1.51 and checked the logs again. I'm still "twi_start()434 - [i2c0] START can't sendout!" messages, but less than 100 or so :roll: early in boot process. There's two occurrences and then they seem to...

v151 flooding twi_start()434 - [i2c0] START can't sendout!

All of a sudden /var/log on my NanoPi NEO is filling up with a constant stream of "twi_start()434 - [i2c0] START can't sendout!" It's filling kern.log, messages, and syslog at fast rate. Google shows it may have something to do with 12c0 but I haven't touched that. :( Any fresh ideas? Than...

log2ram risen from the dead?

I gave my NanoPi NEO on v147 email access and I immediately started getting hourly notifications from cron: Subject: Cron <root@mhj-neo> cd / && run-parts --report /etc/cron.hourly /etc/cron.hourly/log2ram: /etc/cron.hourly/log2ram: 3: /etc/cron.hourly/log2ram: /usr/local/sbin/log2ram: not f...

Possible to enable Kernel Same Page Merging on NanoPi NEO?

Hi,
I'm trying to rein in netdata and wanted to find out if it's possible to enable Kernel Same Page Merging (KSM) in v146 on a NanoPi NEO?

If it is possible, how do I enable it?

Thanks!

Re: [Tutorial] installing Tonido (light personal cloud serve

OK, it took a little poking and prodding however it's working and accessible from my Ubuntu laptop and my Android phone. I had a 128GB USB 2 thumb-drive that I've created two partitions on; 1) 20GB for user neo and 2) 100GB for tonido. The NanoPi NEO has been a kicker of board so far. I'm using LDXE...

OK, great! After doing my reading that's what I thought, but it never hurts to ask the pros! Cheers! :D

Re: [Tutorial] installing Tonido (light personal cloud serve

Can anyone think of any reason why this wouldn't work on a NanoPi NEO running DietPi v146? On the surface I don't see any show stoppers, but I thought I'd ask first. :?:

Re: Can´t get USB Stick to mount

That's what I thought, but I wanted to run it past you anyway just in case. :lol: So, I've already downloaded 145 and will set it up over the weekend. It doesn't take long and I've already documented everything I've done to date. In case I can salvage anything from it I have pulled everything I coul...

Re: Can´t get USB Stick to mount

I'm experiencing the same situation with my NanoPi NEO. I'd like to avoid losing everything I've got configured on it so far. Is there a less destructive way to fix this (even if I have to wait untial a future update is released) or is there a way to preserve everything I've done so far in a way tha...
