XU4 eth stops working after several days

Hello,

After several days (weeks?), I cannot reach my XU4.
Kernel logs says it all:

Is it software or hardware?
How can I restart eth interface without restarting the XU4?

Thank you

Not an issue with kernel as far as i’am aware, or a known issue. Most likely faulty cable or router (try reboot) causing this. Could also be a hardware failure on board, but unsure.

you can bring eth back up with

ifdown eth0
ifup eth0

Thank you fourdee.

I will try that next time it happens

Hi Fourdee,

I’ve some news:
Ifdown and ifup are not working.
I receive a DHCP offer not received.
Using flesh:

URB transfer length is wrong ...
