I just got a [Sabrent USB 3.0 4 Bay 2.5" hard drive/ssd docking station](https://sabrent.com/products/DS-4SSD)

Tied it into my Raspberry Pi 4

I see the drives just fine…can I wipe /dev/sdc and /dev/sdd with this command simultaneously?

```auto
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda 8:0 0 223.6G 0 disk
└─sda1 8:1 0 223.6G 0 part /
sdb 8:16 1 14.6G 0 disk
└─sdb1 8:17 1 256M 0 part /boot
sdc 8:32 0 931.5G 0 disk
├─sdc1 8:33 0 500M 0 part /media/devmon/ESP
├─sdc2 8:34 0 128M 0 part
├─sdc3 8:35 0 918.1G 0 part /media/devmon/OS
├─sdc4 8:36 0 522M 0 part /media/devmon/sdc4-usb-SABRENT_DISK00_D
└─sdc5 8:37 0 12.3G 0 part /media/devmon/Image
sdd 8:48 0 931.5G 0 disk
├─sdd1 8:49 0 260M 0 part /media/devmon/SYSTEM
├─sdd2 8:50 0 16M 0 part
├─sdd3 8:51 0 930.5G 0 part /media/devmon/OS-2
└─sdd4 8:52 0 800M 0 part /media/devmon/RECOVERY
zram0 254:0 0 2G 0 disk [SWAP]
```

```auto
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdc of=/dev/sdd bs=1M status=progress
```

Will it attempt to wipe both drives at the same time…yeah it’s over slow USB 3.0 speeds…but is that the correct command??

You can only have one `of`
But I think you can do it [this way](https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/284480/dd-write-to-multiple-disks):

`sudo dd if=/dev/zero bs=1M status=progress | sudo tee /dev/sdc /dev/sdd > /dev/null`
