Where is Keyboard key information located?

I need to map custom keys (kind of like macros) because the tiny keyboard I am using (Solder Party BBQ20KBD) does not have directional keys or a Ctrl key mapped when using over USB. Where in Dietpi can I find this information to edit? I have looked and tried to find it, but my search has brought up nothing and it seems to be located elsewhere than in stock Raspberry OS

Do you use any desktop environment or just CLI?

Just the command line. I have a feeling it is somewhere in /etc/, but I have no idea where.

Probably /etc/default/keyboard?
Also in dietpi-config under the language options, there is a setting for keyboard. I don’t know what you can config there since I cannot test it, I don’t have a spare keyboard.
