# Update fail 8.24.1, how to fix?

I cannot do the update on my Raspberry Pi 4.  
Before the popup with the error message appears, you can briefly read something with rpi-eeprom in the console.  
I don’t know much about it, is there a simple copy and paste solution to fix this?

Great thank you, that was the solution and now the monthly update also worked! 😁👍
