[Tutorial] Improve Audio Sound

I would like to try this on the current dietpit version, unfortunately the link is broken (404)…?

Looks like the GitHub repository has been removed if you look for https://github.com/dynobot/Linux-Audio-Adjustments

See:

The links in the readme obviously don’t work since they point to the deleted repo, but all the scripts are there.

curl -sSL https://github.com/brianlight/Linux-Audio-Adjustments/raw/master/basic-install.sh | bash

Some more recent commits are in GitHub - tml3nr/Linux-Audio-Adjustments: Audio Tweaks for Debian Based RPi.

Thanks for the heads up…i guess this is a beginner question…

but how can I download and edit this scripts to make them working again ?

I understand they call each other…and as all the adresses with “dynobot” hardcoded in there dont exist anymore…the scripts will currently go nowhere…they just need an update I guess with the new user name in them…

but i have no experience how to make this locally on my machine or in github

theoretically you could, download all scrip to your desktop computer and do the adjustments. Once done, copy everything to the DietPi device. Same could be done directly on DietPi by cloning the repository and adjust files using nano tool. Or you fork the GitHub repository into your own one and do the adjustemts there.

The scripts do call each other? Ah yes one download.
