Hello,

I tried to convert a Debian (sid) image for Milk-V DuoS to Dietpi - this one: [Release DuoS support · Fishwaldo/sophgo-sg200x-debian · GitHub](https://github.com/Fishwaldo/sophgo-sg200x-debian/releases/tag/v1.1.0)
The conversion worked but the board did not boot again. The kernel headers (package name `linux-headers-5.10.4-2240329-1+`) were removed but the kernel image was not. Can this be the problem? And how to prevent it?

I can try converting again from a serial console and send a log.

Thanks

As we don’t support this SBC, our installer is not respecting special settings that has been done on this board. Usually the installer will remove each and every Debian package we don’t expect. Could as well be the kernel package that will be replaced by a generic one.

Which device model you choose? And which Debian version?

I chose trixie but now I can see that it’s impossible - only sid seems to have the riscv64 packages. I think I chose “Generic device”. There were some problems with displaying the script tui (lots of “?” sings around the terminal)
