Trying to build a u-boot stock debian sd card

Uggh…dying here

I have tried this
https://github.com/orangepi-xunlong/OrangePi_Build

I am trying the “jessie” install method…but it keeps dying on me

then I find there are dtbs for all the orange pi variants (and tons more) on the debian stretch “network install iso”
but it has to boot with u-boot

https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/armhf/iso-cd/debian-9.4.0-armhf-netinst.iso

I’ve even tried a chroot and build an armhf build of debian…but still can’t seem to get it to work…anyone else trying to get a stock debian u-boot .img built?

Just found this though…
