Syncthing permissions

Morning, so ran that last command and it got everything working! No need to start again

Thanks for the help - always appreciated.

Now the next issue - first sync with syncthing and it’s copying over faster than when I was trying to take the files off my phone with a cable, but I can see the CPU going up to 100% usage and the temps are going through the roof then the pi stops and I’m no longer able to ssh in so have to manually unplug the power.

Any way to avoid that happening?

does the bord has any cooling?

Nope - guess that’s yet another part I’ll need to get for the pi

I found a way I can reduce the CPU usage of syncthing, but it’s not clear how I can do it - guessing there’s a config file for syncthing I can update to achieve this?

In the link you shared they editing the systemd service unit file.
You can do that via dietpi-services, select the syncthing service and just hit then edit in the service control panel.

Thanks for the pointer was able to make some changes and I think it’s running better now thanks :+1:
