RPI Zero 2 not detected usb stick

Steps to reproduce

1. Boot up the Pi zero 2 as usual
2. Plug the USB stick (intergral 1tb) with a microUSB adapter
3. No changes on the system, no device detected.

Expected behaviour

The device should be detected.
Some informative messages should appear on dmesg, lsusb and lsblk associated to the usb stick, at least.

Actual behaviour

Nothing, The system continues running as no usb stick was plugged.

The usb stick is not present at all but it should

pls try to avoid the very same issue on GitHub and Forum user_data on external drive mounted to a USB hub doesn't seem to mount at startup. · Issue #6679 · MichaIng/DietPi · GitHub

This will most likely not speed things up, it just causes double efforts. Pls stick to GitHub for this case.
