[Resolved] Odroid C2 apt-get unable to reach fuzon.co.uk

I have a new Odroid C2. I did a headless DietPi install of the latest download, which seemed to go well. The Odroid boots, is networked, and generally seems operational. However, if I try to do an apt-get update, I get a bunch of error messages:

Ign http://fuzon.co.uk jessie InRelease
Err http://fuzon.co.uk all Release.gpg
  Unable to connect to fuzon.co.uk:http:
Err http://fuzon.co.uk jessie Release.gpg
  Unable to connect to fuzon.co.uk:http:

And even more error messages:

W: Failed to fetch http://fuzon.co.uk/meveric/dists/all/Release.gpg Unable to connect to fuzon.co.uk:http:

W: Failed to fetch http://fuzon.co.uk/meveric/dists/jessie/Release.gpg Unable to connect to fuzon.co.uk:http:

fuzon.co.uk doesn’t respond to curl or a ping.

/proc/version says this:

Linux version 3.14.79+ (root@odroid-jessie64) (gcc version 4.9.2 (Debian/Linaro 4.9.2-10) ) #1 S
MP PREEMPT Sun Jul 23 00:04:44 CEST 2017

Any clues?

I would like to update everything for all of the usual reasons, but also because the existing samba implementation seems quite slow (maxing out at about 600kBps when serving both Windows and Mac clients). This is actually much worse than what I was getting from my Raspberry Pi. So I was hoping that there was an improvement somewhere out there.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Same for XU4.

apt-get update throws a bunch of errors stating that http://fuzon.co.uk is not reachable.
Did the base url change? Is the site offline? Did the repository move?

UP !

Same problem here, Odroid C1+. The host seems down, does not reponds to ping.

Same here.
Unable to reach fuzon.co.uk sind more than 24h.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the report. Looking into it now.

Sent a ticket to MyVirtualServer, awaiting response.

Hi all,

Fuzon.co.uk (Our Odroid APT mirror for Meveric’s packages) is now back online. Apologies for the downtime.

Great. Thanks for that, and thanks for DietPi in general. It’s great work.

My update was a bit disappointing, though. Nothing that will fix my samba slowness. I guess I have to figure that out on my own .

Uh…lost a mirror…that’s no good

Thank you very much
