RAM / 15 min load usage erratic (10 day old install)

I installed dietpi on a raspi v3 about ~10 days ago. Just noticed a huge drop in CPU temp / used RAM recently. Attached a system stats screenshot and results of ‘free’ command to this post.

I gave it 1GB swap when I setup dietpi config (USB boot from a 120GB SSD drive). Any idea what’s going on here, maybe a dump of some of the stack into swap all at once? This machine usually never goes over a 0.5 load for the 15 minute average, when using raspberry pi os.

Hmm hard to say as we don’t know which process ends. You could have a look into dmesg or journalctl around the specific time stamp. Maybe you will find something. Just out of your graph, nobody could tell you what happen.

I think I figured it out. Chromium in kiosk mode runs on this machine 24/7, and it looks like the latest chromium ARM release causes a few issues on my setup.
