Extra details

I got the problem that my older hdmi monitor (see controller board) displays “no signal”. A newer monitor displays without issues. The older monitor e.g. with raspberry pi zero displays without issues. So it seems that the combination older monitor and radxa zero 3 with dietpi has a problem.

I did some experimenting with xrandr without luck. Everything seems to work but get no signal at all. It says HDMI-1 is connected and supports resolutions like 1280x720@50/60. I also tried 720x480 without luck.

Help please  I got out of ideas

Thanks in advance
Julian

did you solve?

I had similar issues with my Zero 3E.
Using a short Micro-HDMI->HDMI cable did not work at first.
The monitor had several inputs, also one VGA. I then used a HDMI->VGA converter and all worked fine. When I then switched back to the HDMI input of the monitor, all worked fine from this on.
