yeah, it’s a security feature of the Let’s Encrypt server to protect from abuse.

So is it not possible for me to make new certificates? have I messed up?

We are not able to bypass this on letsencrypt

Oh okay, that’s a relief, I honestly wept for a second, so all I need to do is run the command tmr, and I should have https. Is there anything else I will have to do?
