PiVPN - possible to connect, but no internet

well using a 2nd device could be an option. You would need to configure it with static IP pointing to your internet router as gateway. On this 2nd device you could have running NoIP as well as Nextcloud.

Yeah ok I see, easy option vs tricky one.
But I need to buy a new raspberry so it’s quit stupid too
If someone has an idea on how to deroute from the VPN the nextcloud package I’ll be glade to hear

Thanks for the help as always, will continue my learning

Not sure if that make sense but what about running NextCloud within Docker? I guess it should be possible to exclude docker user from VPN traffic. There are Docker images available for NextCloud, NoIP DDNS client as well as Nginx Proxy Manager to manage SSL plus Revers Proxy connections.

But I needed to say, I’m lacking some knowledge on Docker usage. So probably not the best idea

Hi,

Thanks, I will look at it, I’ve already used Docker on my ex Synology

Just out of interest, I played around with docker and got everything up and running. Last challenge would be to exclude docker stuff from VPN

Yes, the main trick is here, I need to exclude it anyway, like the other member said, with IPTable is the only solution if i’m right
