Hi,

I’m new to DietPi, but have a (somewhat) working Armbian installation on my Pine64+ 2GB board.

In Armbian, using the 3.10.104 kernel, I can load the gt9xxf\_ts kernel module and set pine64\_lcd=on in /boot/armbianEnv.txt

In DietPi, the module seems to be missing and I tried adding “pine64\_lcd=on” and commenting out “optargs=disp.screen0\_output\_mode=720p60” in “/boot/uEnv.txt”

But a reboot simply overwrites the file with the original version.

Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong and if there is a way to enable the touchscreen?

Thanks for any help.

As per:
[https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/blob/master/uEnv.txt#L1-L2](https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/blob/master/uEnv.txt#L1-L2)

You need to edit the file from the DietPi-RAMdisk location:

```plaintext
/DietPi/uEnv.txt
```
