Odroid HC4 cannot install or boot DietPi 9.8 with Petitboot active

If we are still talking abaut the HC4, what are you calling the “I” item in the Board Detail section?
It even uses the same connector as the M1, and with the lower baud rate required, a USB adapter suitable for an M1 can be used here as well.

OK, let me be more precise. I don’t have the adapter for the serial console attached. I would need to dig it out, which is also difficult since I have placed it somewhere where I cannot find it. :grimacing:

But don’t fear, I get around to it. But for the moment, I have hard drives to test, so the HC4 is occupied. You’ll get the console log later, I have not forgotten.

Sidenote: For my current tasks, the ability to warm boot with your u-boot config is invaluable (HC4 is two flights of stairs away), so I am again very thankful for this seemingly small thing.

Three weeks almost, just a quick update: I ordered another USB adapter since I can’t find my original one. The hard drives are also all tested, expect the console log in the near future.

@emk2203 so what are the steps to that for someone totally noob in that area.

Thank you!

I can’t imagine that reboot would work again!
