Looking for a Sparky (yeah, I know it is really old) image

Hello everybody.

Introducing me first. I’m a retired cybersecurity professional. I love working with SBCs (have a lot of RPis and much more Orange Pis), and Domotics, and love good sounding music (I have a Volumio player in its own case built around a RPi 4).

Now I just got a beautiful Allo Sparky+USBridge board, and I’m trying to install something on it, but every single image has disappeared from the Web. Yes, I know it’s very old and probably not very powerful, but I’d like to test it. Does anybody have an image I could test? Or an old images repository for DietPi? I can’t find any of them :frowning:

did you tried the web archive (Wayback Machine)

usually nothing get lost on the internet :wink:

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!. There it was. I knew about Web Archive, but I didn’t think they would store such a lot of big downloads.

Thanks to you my Sparky will come to life again.

It’s amazing what you can still find in the Web Archive sometimes. The older the data gets, the less likely it is that such large dowloads will still be available. You were lucky that an archive from late 2025 was still online. The download still worked there.
