Sorry I don’t have an answer to your problem, but was just curious: how do you like your Pinebook Pro? I was considering buying one, but having never seen one, it’s a bit a gamble.

I figured it out, I installed brightnessctl and used sudo brightnessctl set 3000 or any other value than 3000.

The pbp is alright, but its only alright for me since I came from a chromebook. I got the pinebook recently only for a few days, three days, but I can’t find much bad with having the pinebook so far. For anybody that is interested in arm, there is pi-apps for it so you can install more software.

I have a Pinebook Pro, and it’s great. DietPi runs great on it, but I’m using Fedora (GitHub - bengtfredh/pinebook-pro-fedora-installer: Unofficial Fedora installer for Pinebook Pro) right now. If you do get one, installing Tow-Boot on it saves a ton of headache (it gives you a BIOS-like boot menu), and boot problems before installing Tow-Boot are the only real trouble I’ve had.
