Ok, then those of the active cooler have been discarded. Although they work well for the Pmic and wifi on the cpu I put the gray argon case on it
cpu iddle: 45c
pmic iddle: 45.8c
cpu stress 30min max: 60c
My mind just exploded. I didnāt know about rpi-clone, this is VITAL for RPI, I just cloned the SD to a pendrive and it booted from the pendrive perfectly. When I get the new box and the evo980 500GB I will clone the USB pendrive to the SSD. Thank you very much for this great tool. Itās going to help me a lot.
Thanks to both
As stated already, simply follow our blog post to use dd
command to clone your entire pen drive to NVMe. Not sure why but you are doing way more complicate as it is.
How have you put this in your config.txt?
# Add to bottom of /boot/firmware/config.txt
dtparam=pciex1
# Note: You could also just add the following (it is an alias to the above line)
# dtparam=nvme
# Optionally, you can control the PCIe lane speed using this parameter
# dtparam=pciex1_gen=3
I know how to put it but how have you left it in your file so I can see it better?
And you have added this for the Argon case at startup?
Add the following line if using a non-HAT+ adapter:
PCIE_PROBE=1
In a supposed case, the SSD breaks down and I donāt want to buy another SSD and go back to the SD or USB, how could we change the boot order? without having an SSD?
Iām not sure, I think I had to put it there.
You need it, so check itās there or add it.
No I didnāt add the PCIE_PROBE option.
If the SSD breaks down you can always boot from the SDCard, the boot order is different with priority to the nvme but you can still boot from the SDCard.
