# Home Assistant OS as guest where DietPI is host?

As far as I have seen (read in the Internet), the only thing currently ‘conflicting’ is the networkmanager.  
@Joulinar [did a step-by-step here](https://dietpi.com/forum/t/home-assistant-supervised-on-dietpi/4726/8), but that is already from 3 years ago, so maybein the meantime things have changed / evolved?
